Installing the e-nkap plugin for Woocommerce

The e-nkap WordPress plugin is very easy to install. Before installing this plugin, make sure Woocommerce plugin is already installed and activated.

First thing you need to visit the Plugins » Add New page inside your WordPress admin area.

Find the plugin by typing the name SmobilPay for e-commerce – Mobile Money Gateway for WooCommerce in the search box, you will see the plugin appear in the list.

Click the ‘Install Now’ button next to it.

WordPress will now download and install the plugin for you. After this, you’ll notice the ‘Install Now’ button will change into the ‘Activate’ button.

Go ahead and click on the activate button to activate it.

Setting up the e-nkap plugin

For the e-nkap plugin to work, the Consumer key and secret must be configured. The key and secret is obtained from the API manager store.

On the main dashboard, click the Plugins menu and click settings below the e-nkap plugin name.

The following fields must be configured

1. Test mode 

2. Consumer Key

3. Consumer Secret

Enable Test mode to connect to the sandbox environment or disable it to connect to the live environment.

Click Save changes to fully configure the e-nkap plugin for woocommerce.
